Memorable Quotes from past years:

“The fishy got away.”

“The Derby has been awesome. We were about to pack up without any luck but then the volunteer came and showed us how to do the lure and cast the line better and we caught two large fish.”

“At the Trout Derby there were three hundred fish in the pond, so the fish are very easy to catch if you get there right when it starts. I just cast in my line a couple times, and the third time I caught one! Another fun thing about it is the prizes. I thought that was fun!”

“When I wake up tomorrow can I go fishing again?”

Daughter: “This is the best day ever!”
Father: “Of all the days in your six years of life you pick this one?”
Daughter: “Yes.”

“We went to the Trout Derby, and I did not catch a fish, but I got some fun prizes!”

“The kids had a blast. It was definitely a memory maker for them. We came away with 6 trout and enjoyed a great dinner that night.”
